Life and learning is a continuing journey. Only death will put a stop to our journey. We can stand up every time we stumble or we can pause for a break and begin our journey once again. Life will become more challenging and exciting if we will push our selves to unknown limits. We should not be afraid to fail. God is so kind that we made us all born winners. To win is our destiny, but to fail is our own choice and doing.

WHY IT IS A MUST FOR GOOD MEN AND WOMEN TO WIN SENATE SEATS?

May 5th, 2013 by Rosauro M. Angeles | 61,967 views 2 Comments

Evil will always triumph when we do not vote and elect good men and women in public office.

Why will you vote for just-just candidates? Do not waste your precious votes! Vote only for the best candidates particularly for the senate.

Vote for individuals who are the best in their field. Vote for individuals with proven track records. Vote for candidates whose interest is to help uplift the lives of Filipino people.

Dreams are meant to be achieved and not just to be dream about. Big change comes not only from one person’s effort but from collective effort of good men working together to bring about a BIG CHANGE for the better.

It is a must indeed for good men and women to be elected in the senate. Otherwise, our people must not expect BIG CHANGES to happen. Big changes mean millions of jobs for the people. Not temporary and low paying jobs, rather permanent jobs that will support decent lives.

All dreams have a price. It involves effort, time, money and sacrifices. You cannot win a Lotto prize unless you place a bet. There is no such thing as free lunch says the Americans. Even volunteer workers needs to eat, subsist and survive. In any election we must fully bet to know the real candidates that will support, encourage and create a culture of good governance.

Let us work together to elect the good men and women for the senate. Personally I recommend the following individuals to be voted and be elected come 2016 Philippines National Election. They are:

  1. Atty. Francis “TULONG – TINO” Tolentino;
  2. Senator Panfilo “PING” Lacson;
  3. Atty. Lorna Patajos Kapunan;
  4. Congressman Martin Romualdez;
  5. Senator Dick Gordon

Yes, they are the best candidates for the senate and some or rather most of them are not in the magic circle of 12 in the latest SWS and Pulse Asia Survey. Let us help them. Let us campaign for them so that they will land in the winning circle.

People are swayed by surveys. No matter how scientific the SWS and Pulse Asia survey results are, it cannot be denied that the sample used by these survey firms represent only a small fraction of our registered voting population.

With or without survey, in an election with 12 candidates to be chosen in a field of over 3 dozens’ competing candidates, certainly all candidates with the highest name recall has the advantage.

Nonetheless, survey firms who now and then published the results and ranking of candidates in their surveys coupled with massive and extensive hype from the mainstream media tend to establish a trend of voters preference thus help in conditioning the mind of the readers –listeners –watchers – voters.

Rich candidates with all their wealth, human resources and political machinery can tap anything and everything from TV, Radio, Print and on-line advertisement materials to create the necessary hype and attention thus becoming Top of Mind among targeted voters.
Wealthy politicians can bombard with advertisements both the mainstream media and the social media. It is not their fault to be rich and equipped with so much resources and having political machinery support of national and local parties to propel their national candidacies.  Nevertheless, we need to be part of the efforts to help candidates who are much worthier compared with other candidates.

Top of Mind and High Name Recall is not just built over night. It will take hundreds of favourable articles and photos plus importantly face to face interactions to deliberately built and cement a favourable image. However, to visit the 7,107 Philippine islands is very costly and quite physically impossible particularly to meet and to talk with all Filipino voters.

National election is very different from local election. Local election is more personal as it involves only a small geographic area where all candidates are residents and has a high of 85% chance that he or she is already known to all residents. Conducting a house to house or by Barangay visits by a local candidate to conduct a town hall meeting for local election is very feasible but not for national election.

Still local campaign propaganda and massive advertisement materials are needed to strengthen and cement a good image design to continuously remind the local residents of the candidates’ achievements, good performance, noble intention and competence.

In a national election it is a name game. Name recall has a significant role to play. A candidate may lose in his own province, town or city and yet will still win the national election because of a high name recall.

We need people like Francis Tolentino, Ping Lacson, Lorna Kapunan, Martin Romualdez and Dick Gordon in the senate. Let us help them WIN BIG.

Good men and women in their likes are genuine representatives of our people who are ready to extend their service for the betterment of the big majority of our people particularly to those who have less in life.

Nevertheless some of them may need a reasonable sum in the range of Pesos: 75,000.00 to Pesos: 150,000.00 per month to hire excellent article writers cum bloggers to launch a massive social media campaign. Indeed the amount mentioned is very affordable and will provide the best value for money. This amount can be a lot lower if preparations have been made at least 2 years in advance before the election period.

Almost 4 out of 10 Filipinos are active in the internet. More than 85% of Filipinos that are very active in the internet has 1 or more account in Facebook and is a member of at least 10 Facebook groups and about 50% of Facebook users are eligible voters.

Hence if the internet and or the social media will continually be deliberately and creatively bombarded with hundreds of favourable articles and photos it is very likely that such person can generate interest and high recall among internet and social media users.

Top of Mind and High Name Recall is not just built over night. It will take a strategic continuous campaign to become a preferred Top of Mind household name.

Deliberately working to build your name and image will not only make you Top of Mind and household name but will also create an army of supporters and campaign donors. The result will make you a credible contender and a highly viable and winnable candidate for a national position.

Good intention is simply not enough to serve our people. Discipline, desire and determination to win a national seat must accompany a good intention. Yes, I will not argue that a good man can serve his people without the need of being in a government service or national post.

But a man who has the will, good intention, capability, youth and competence to best serve the people must be in the highest position possible to make a BIG CHANGE that has an all inclusive effect to improve the lives of the majority of our people.

I pray that Atty. Francis Tolentino, Atty. Lorna Kapunan, Senator Dick Gordon, Congressman Martin Romualdez along with Senator Ping Lacson will win a senate seat this 2016 Philippines National Election. Let us make Ping Lacson the number 1 winner and the rest “Big Winners landing in the Top 8 of all winning senatorial candidates.

Dreams indeed are meant to be achieved and not just simply to be dream about. Writers and bloggers like the author can simply help in achieving and realizing BIG DREAMS.

I’ve been using Movable-type on a number of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
