“DENCIO’S SAMA-SAMA SA SARAP”

March 10th, 2013 by Jana Perry | 939 views No Comments

The fast phase dog-eat-dog life in the metropolis is quite consuming, tiring and somewhat nerve breaking.

Dennis Nakpil and Dennis Mariano, Jr. badly need a break.   They wanted 2 go and enjoy great foods in best places, but hey does not want to leave the metropolis.

The thought of serene, simple and relaxing rural life is so inviting. Fresh foods, vast open space, fresh air in a big greenery backdrop seems so stimulating and peaceful have caught their imaginations.

Alas! Why not bring to life a restaurant with the rural-town concept in the metropolis? A restaurant that combined the amenities of the modern metropolis cities in a rural setting that emphasizes certain Philippines traditions will surely enhance the diners’ experience of enjoying great foods.

Hence, in 1991, the two agreed to open a restaurant in Quezon City and adopted DENCIO’S BAR & GRILL as its name which was taken from their first name Dennis or “Dencio” as commonly referred in the Philippines.

It was neither long nor hard for Dencio’s Bar & Grill to be recognized and regularly patronized by the public with penchant for great tasting foods ablaze in a very relaxing environment.

Dencio’s Bar & Grill Restaurant was acquired by Pancake House Incorporation in 2004 and has more than 20 restaurant branches in the Philippines at present.
